Hello, Beautiful Soul
Rikki Shaw is a faith-fueled advocate, speaker, and founder of Roses From Ashes, a movement born from a lifetime of witnessing and surviving systems of injustice. Her journey—from legislative director in the NYS Assembly to keynote speaker at the National Network to End Domestic Violence—equips her to speak with clarity and compassion about abuse, trauma, and healing.
Her résumé includes working for U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton, shepherding nearly 200 bills through the NY State Assembly, and leading multi-million-dollar grant programs to combat poverty and violence in the Capital Region. But her most transformative work began in secret—surviving rape, intimate partner violence, and political retaliation—and choosing to rise.
Now, Rikki meets with women across the country who are being crushed by broken systems, helping them find voice, hope, and solidarity. She speaks with spiritual depth, policy precision, and a profound commitment to truth.
Whether she's teaching scripture, testifying in court, or telling her story on stage, Rikki brings courage, credibility, and the conviction that what the enemy meant for evil-
God is using for good.
